Missy's Pedigree

Missy is from the first litter born with the Malicloy Prefix. She is also a full litter sisiter to Pingu, with Missy's mum being Hayley (Branbern Darbie Doll) and her dad Angus (Anahera Epic Steam).

Missy makes us laugh every day and is full of life and vigour just like her mother Hayley. Until seen, one could not believe a Bernese could jump so high with all four feet off the ground at the same level. This is from a standstill many times and has been "nick named" by us as "The Gazelle". Missy is our athlete of the family.

Over the past year, she has only been shown lightly for multiple Class in Group wins. So as not to compete against her sister at the '09 Specialty, Missy was put up an age class and was awarded an impressive 2nd out of a large class of older, more mature bitches.

Missy is a moderate bitch, not extreme in any way. She has a pleasant head with a dark, almond eye giving a soft expression. Missy is of correct proportions and has moderate angulation both front and rear. Whilst her side gate is exceptional, she does move a little wide in the front and a tad narrow between the hocks in the rear. Her tail has a tendancy to curl when excited.

Because of Missy's love of the home life and slightly nervous nature when at shows, she does not get shown much but still has a lot to offer the breed and will remain at Malicloy to greet visitors and possibly do some obedience and Agility in the future.
