'Wilbur' (3/3/05 - Alive)

Wilbur came to us as an 8 week old puppy. To stay with us for showing until he was old enough to go to England. He has a sweet nature whilst retaining some very good breed attributes. Wilbur's best asset is his beautiful nature and correct temperament. Wilbur also has exceptional hips. He is rated in the 100th percentile for his Pennhip results, making him invaluable in any breeding program.

His is a tall dog that will take a while to mature fully, but when he does, will be a great addition to the breed. His easy going temperament is second to none and we can't help but love his "doeful" eyes.

Wilbur attained his Australian Title and won many class in Group awards. At the Adelaide Royal Show in 2007, Wilbur won Dog challenge and then Came Runner Up Best of Breed to Hayley.

Many thanks to Lyn Brand of Branbern Kennels for entrusting such a lovely boy with us.

Wilbur left Malicloy in late 2007 to be with his new family in England. We hope Bernice Mair of "Meadowpark Bernese" has as much fun as we did with Wilbur.

'Claude' (6/11/00 - Dec.'08)

View Pedigree

At just over 4 years old, Claude has proved to be a great and invaluable companion for Ruth (Ben's Mum), being a very social dog who loves being the object of Ruth’s affections and the centre of attention.

Claude shares a mother with Max and has also achieved his Australian title under the helpful guidance of our friend Jackie Haynen, a Rottweiler handler. Claude is of a similar build to Max but has a stronger head.

Claude at the end of 2007 had to be put down due to Osteosarcoma in his Scapula. He will be sadly missed by Ruth.
